Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled VP of Revenue Cycle to join their finance team. This role will lead all aspects of revenue cycle operations including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursements to ensure financial integrity, efficiency, and compliance. This executive collaborates closely with clinical, financial, and IT teams to drive results across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: 
Provide overall leadership and direction for revenue-related operations including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement
Develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue, reduce denials, and improve cash flow
Help ensure adherence to relevant policies, guidelines, and industry standards
Lead and manage cross-functional revenue cycle teams, fostering accountability and performance
Manage and guide cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals to enhance charge capture and streamline processes
Analyze key performance indicators and implement data-driven improvements
Support initiatives aimed at improving financial and operational outcomes
Monitor performance trends and support ongoing process improvements

Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field?required. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role preferably in healthcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle or SAP is required. 
Strong understanding of key processes within the revenue cycle
Demonstrated ability to improve performance and support organizational goals
Familiarity with healthcare systems and technology platforms
Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
