Azure SQL Database Administrator POST NUMBER: 451200

Position Overview
The Azure SQL DBA will focus on strengthening organizational infrastructure through performance tuning, task automation, and technical support for an ongoing migration to Azure SQL Managed Instance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administer and maintain Azure SQL Managed Instances, supporting a high-volume data platform.
- Finalize migration from SQL Server 2019 to Azure SQL, enabling near real-time system updates.
- Optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resolving deadlocks or resource bottlenecks.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, or Azure Automation.
- Manage database security, compliance, and auditing within Azure environments.
- Collaborate with developers to assist with schema design, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
- Support and enhance Azure-based infrastructure including Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and Azure Web Services.
- Participate in planning and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for SQL deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with current and prospective partners to support scalability, operational readiness, and efficient data transfer workflows.
