About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This is a high-impact role that goes beyond traditional AP processing—ideal for someone looking to expand into broader accounting support responsibilities.
In this role, you’ll lead AP operations while assisting the Controller during an exciting period of transition. You’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the full-cycle AP process, including 3-way match, invoice entry, vendor communication, and approvals

Manage high-volume invoice processing (hundreds to thousands monthly)

Support the accounting team with reporting, reconciliations, and month-end tasks

Help drive efficiency and improvements in systems and workflows

Act as a resource for the Controller during system transitions and upgrades
What We’re Looking For:

5 years of AP experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment

Strong understanding of 3-way matching and vendor management
-
Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement

Ability to support broader accounting functions, not just transactional AP

Comfortable working with multiple ERP systems (Epicor, P21, etc. a plus)
Nice-to-Have Qualities:

Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Familiarity with accounting system transitions or ERP implementations

Curious, analytical, and eager to take ownership
