Our client in Bowling Green, KY is hiring an on-site HR Manager of Distribution with 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced distribution or supply chain environment.
This role partners Supply Chain leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals across logistics, procurement, and materials management. Key focus areas include recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and safety.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, approachable HR professional skilled in supporting a diverse hourly workforce and frontline leadership.

Duties:
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Lead hiring efforts for warehouse and administrative staff, including job postings, interviews, and offers
    • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Act as primary contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
  • HR Compliance & Policy Administration
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, EEO, etc.)
    • Develop and enforce HR policies tailored to a distribution/warehouse environment
  • Performance Management
    • Coach supervisors on reviews, disciplinary actions, and development planning
    • Track KPIs related to productivity, retention, and employee performance
  • Training & Development
    • Coordinate safety, compliance, and leadership training programs
    • Maintain training records and manage certification renewals
  • Workplace Safety & Attendance
    • Collaborate with safety teams to maintain OSHA-compliant work environments
    • Monitor attendance, manage leaves, and administer corrective actions
  • HR Reporting & Systems
    • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover and safety incidents

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field is required
  • 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in distribution, logistics or manufacturing environment required
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee groups in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with HRIS, Time Keeping systems and MS Office suite
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
