

Interim Payroll Analyst POST NUMBER: 450563
Our client, a Software Development Company, is looking for an Interim Payroll Analyst or Manager to support them while a member of their team is on leave.
This position is hybrid, 4 days per week at their office in San Francisco, CA., but they are open to a 100% remote consultant. This role will have a duration of 3 months. This role reports to the Head of Payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for around 1500 US employees (International Payroll is done separately)
- Calculate prorated earnings and deductions for new hires, terminations, and leave of absences
- Reconcile health benefit invoices and confirm via deductions from payroll
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Handle all payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Work closely with the HR team on cross-functional projects
- Properly file and maintain HR and payroll files
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Communicate with employees and others in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining strict confidentiality of all information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, four-year college or university
- 5 years of payroll experience required.
- Overall Systems-Savviness
- ADP WFN experience is required
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
- NetSuite nice-to-have
