

Software Project/Program Manager - Remote POST NUMBER: 447409
About the Opportunity
This position will be part of a new automation center of excellence and will be in charge of managing all the automation projects/initiatives/programs that will be worked on by this COE. This COE's main purpose is to help the business realize tangible value/ROI from business automation. This means that this role will be managing project intake, establishing financial models/ROI for the incoming projects, creating rollout plans, confirming resourcing/capacity planning, and managing projects through to delivery.
Main Role Duties:
- Create business cases, financial models, cost-benefit analyses and operational rollout plans for software/application projects for the business
- Vet, intake, estimate, plan, resource, manage/coordinate, steer, deliver software projects to the business including measuring ROI
- Track and report project impact on business KPIs, operational efficiency, and ROI.
About the Team
No direct reports, this role will work closely with internal stakeholders.
Travel
5% per year (about 2-4 trips per year to visit various businesses and conferences - in US and Canada).
About You
- Proven experience with technical project / program management working on implementing production software products/solutions (8 years)
- Experience delivering internal and external software projects / programs
- Experience creating business cases, investment planning, and cost-benefit analyses for projects, developing financial projections and articulate project impact in business terms
- Excellent communicator and presenter with history of collaborating with distributed technical teams / C-level stakeholders / vendors / partners
- This is a fully remote position with EST or CST time zone work hours
- Ability to travel 4-5 times a year to US/Canada

Base Salary Range: 140,000 -150,000 CAD.
