Our client, a high-growth AI infrastructure company, is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and scale their finance function. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team during a pivotal growth phase.
Location:
The role is currently remote, with plans to shift to a hybrid model (2–3 days/week) in Mountain View, CA, starting in early 2026.
Job Description:
This is a foundational role that will be instrumental in shaping our client’s financial strategy, ensuring their operational efficiency, and preparing them for their next stage of growth. This position reports to the CEO and co-founder.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with growth objectives; advise executive leadership and board.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead fundraising efforts, prepare financial models and forecasts, and manage investor communications.
- FP&A & Accounting Oversight: Drive budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting; oversee outsourced accounting and internal controls.
- International Finance & Compliance: Manage financial operations of a European subsidiary, including compliance, intercompany transactions, and risk management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role (Head of Finance, VP of Finance) within a high-growth tech startup.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Experience with venture fundraising (Series A or later) and investor relations.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
