Senior Accountant I
Role Overview:
Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements. Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and generate month-end reports. Identify and resolve complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with GAAP. Lead special projects and support department goals using professional judgment and accounting expertise.
Responsibilities:

Timely reconciliation, analysis, and adjustment of general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance

Clear, concise communication with auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and internal teams

Prepare and support journal entries
-
Identify accounting issues
-
Assist with Federal/State payroll, sales/use tax, corporate tax returns, and annual reports

Support audits by preparing and analyzing work papers within deadlines
-
Perform other duties as assigned in line with organizational standards
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
4-6 years accounting experience
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite???????
Key Requirements:
-
Must have 2 years in public accounting (public or public/private mix) and come from large company while serving large accounts
-
Experience with PeopleSoft preferred; open to other ERP systems
-
No overtime; reasonable hours
