Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst with strong Business Intelligence (BI) and BusinessObjects (BO) skills, combined with a solid foundation in accounting principles. This role will bridge the gap between finance and technology, ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful, and timely financial reports to support decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize BI and BO dashboards, reports, and data models for financial reporting.
- Experience in accounting lending a hand and foundation to the financial reporting.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable BI/BO solutions.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems by reconciling BI/BO data with accounting records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities taking manual processes and automating the financial data gathering, reporting, and visualization.
- Assist in the integration of new data sources and tools to enhance financial reporting capabilities.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and relevant accounting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with at least 2 years of hands-on BI/BO experience.
- Strong proficiency in JD Edwards, HFM, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a must.
