Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assistant Controller to support their finance team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing daily accounting operations, assisting with financial reporting, and providing support to the Controller across a range of finance-related activities.

About the Opportunity?

Manage and oversee daily BU financial support.
-
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulations.

Review and support of internal controls and financial procedures.
-
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
-
Lead and coordinate annual budget planning and monthly forecasting activities.

Coordinate and support external auditors and ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.

Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
About You?
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
-
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary Range?
$105,000 - $110,000/year?
