Interim Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 454732
Our client, a digital health technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support their accounting team during a parental leave coverage. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, low-turnover team with a strong culture.
This is a 100% remote contract position, and will have a duration of 4 months.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close duties including journal entries, account reconciliations, and GL account flux analyses.
- Manage compensation-related journal entries and GL account balances.
- Review procurement and accounts payable requests for accounting implications.
- Support internal accounting team and external auditors with financial statement audit deliverables.
- Drive efficiencies and improvements in financial close processes and participate in special projects.
Requirements:
- 3 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GL accounting.
- Experience with compensation-related transactions is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Big 4 audit experience and CPA track are a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with NetSuite and Domo is helpful but not required.
