About the Company?
Our client is a precious metals company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for?overseeing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting, supporting strategic financial planning, and will play a key role in the transformation and modernization of the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, and experience with ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and experience from a recognized audit firm.

About the Opportunity?

Lead month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Manage the accounting of the Company’s portfolio of equity investments and other financial instruments.

Oversee the reporting of the Company’s general and administrative expense.

Assist in the current implementation of a new accounting system (go-live in Q4 2025).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and reporting.

Mentor junior accountants and assist in staff development.

Maintain internal controls and recommend improvements.

Liaise with external auditors.

Participate in special projects and other tasks as required.
About You?

3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting in a large to medium-sized audit firm
-
Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA designation or equivalent)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Solid knowledge of financial accounting systems including Microsoft Office (Excel and Power BI).

Experience with ERP systems (particularly Dynamics 365 Finance
Salary Range?
$100,000 - $110,000/year?
