Senior Director Credit Risk and Collections POST NUMBER: 456533
- Management of entire credit lifecycle of clients/customers.
- Lead in delivering and performing historical trend and ratio analysis, assesses cash flow, industry risks and any other risk factors to provide risk assessments and recommended actions
- Manager large collections team and oversee invoicing, payment applications, collections, reconciliations, and customer account maintenance.
- Collaborates in efficient functioning of collections life cycle. Includes participating in the execution of established loss mitigation solutions for the successful resolution of non-performing and high risk accounts.
- Risk Assessment and Identification - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, considering both internal and external factors to identify material / emerging concentration risks, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and publish weekly, monthly, quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management
- Interact with clients to review financials health.
- Interact with Senior Sales Leaders, District Managers and Sales Representatives to gather information relative to a customer being analyzed including communication of credit decisions
- Establish Funding terms and Risk Tiers for all new and existing clients
- Review and analyze current procedures in order to recommend and implement changes to standardize activities
- Perform enhanced due diligence reviews as it pertains to KYC/AML regulatory requirements for all clients.
- Develop a credit pre-screening matrix for new client sales orders to identify any credit concerns prior to implementation
- Identify areas for process improvements along with developing, maintaining and implementing process solutions for the Credit Risk team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline, or professional accounting qualifications such like CPA, ACCA
- 10 years' experience of working within Credit Risk/Collections
- Prior experiencing Accounts Receivable team.
- 10 years directly managing staff
- Solid understanding of Credit & Risk Assessment
- Superior knowledge and experience in analyzing financial statements
- Experience in developing scorecards & dashboards
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and practices, particularly in relation to risk appetite frameworks.
