Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 457153
Responsibilities:
- Lead key areas of the monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and review internal financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Maintain financial schedules related to prepaid expenses, property taxes, interest accruals, and debt amortization
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Calculate and record inventory and COGS entries; work with operations to resolve variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Assist with lease accounting and compliance with relevant reporting standards
- Contribute to process improvements, systems upgrades, and internal control enhancements
- Take on special projects and ad hoc reporting at the request of the CFO and leadership team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a general ledger-focused role
- Strong grasp of GAAP and experience preparing full financial statements
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems
- Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment
- Prior experience in manufacturing is highly preferred
