Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on support with hardware setup, machine imaging, and deployment of desktops and laptops across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience in end-user device lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and image new laptops and desktops using standardized company images (SCCM, Intune, or other deployment tools).
Install and update operating systems, drivers, and approved applications.
Manage inventory of hardware, ensuring accurate asset tagging and documentation.
Perform routine hardware repairs, upgrades, and replacements (RAM, SSD, peripherals).
Support onboarding by preparing and distributing machines for new hires.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users (Windows, macOS).
Maintain imaging scripts, documentation, and process checklists.
Collaborate with IT team members to enforce security standards (BitLocker, encryption, endpoint protection).
Provide hands-on support for office IT equipment (printers, monitors, docking stations).

Qualifications

3 years of IT support experience (desktop support, helpdesk, or field tech).
Hands-on experience with Windows OS builds, deployment tools (SCCM, Intune, MDT, Ghost, etc.), and machine imaging.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift and set up equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with macOS imaging (Jamf, Kandji, or similar).
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
