

Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 457981
Plano, TX – hybrid, 4 days onsite
One of Vaco’s PE-backed business outsourcing clients with operations across the US is looking to scale the finance team including adding a Financial Analyst to the group. Looking for someone with sharp analytical skills, adept at financial modeling and very Excel-savvy (will be working with data from multiple sources)
Strong growth potential – the current Manager started out as an Analyst several years ago and has been promoted 3 times.
Compensation $80-90K 5-10% bonus.
Role:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
- Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial support and insight.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and executive reports.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial analyses and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday) preferred.
