Position Overview
The Senior Director – Information Technology serves as the strategic and operational leader for the enterprise’s IT vision, strategy, and execution; driving business growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantages across the organization. This role leads a 25-member team responsible for ERP systems, infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, and application development.
With demonstrated success, this position has the potential to advance into the Chief Information Officer / CIO role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with corporate strategy, operational priorities, and industry advancements.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise technologies that drive efficiency, scalability, and competitive differentiation.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for technology-related decisions, governance, and best practices.
- Manage the administration, enhancement, and optimization of core ERP platforms (manufacturing, finance, supply chain, field operations, equipment management, etc).
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs, regulatory compliance, and scalability.
- Oversee internal / external system integrations and upgrades to ensure a seamless technology ecosystem.
- Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of network, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-level cybersecurity policies, controls, and risk management practices.
- Ensure reliable and secure IT operations, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Develop and support analytics platforms and reporting solutions to improve operational visibility and decision-making.
- Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, service, and continuous improvement across multiple locations / continents.
- Develop and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.
- Oversee IT budgets, capital expenditures, and cost optimization efforts.
