Position Title: Sales Manager
Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for guiding prospects through the entire sales process—from initial inquiry to contract signing—and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within institutional investing, fund management, and family office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strategic partnerships with prospects to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract execution.
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, and client service teams to support the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including notes from prospect interactions.
- While lead generation may occur, it is not a primary focus of this role.
- Work toward achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Cultivate relationships with key intermediaries in the industry.
- Occasionally lead internal seminars or workshops to improve sales team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Knowledge & Expertise:
- Deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Ability to deliver initial product demonstrations independently.
- Proven experience working with capital markets, institutional investors, and family offices.
- Strong familiarity with family office structures, general partners (GPs), private equity (PE), and fund markets.
- Awareness of competitive offerings and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Patience and professionalism when working with hesitant or frustrated clients.
Experience:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within financial services or fintech.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
