As a Senior Accountant, you will have the chance to apply your general ledger, month-end close and process development skills to support a forward-thinking accounting team.

Your areas of responsibility in this role will generally include:

  • Participating in month-end and year-end closing process
  • Performing intercompany accounting reconciliations - must have prior experience.
  • Reviewing and preparing complex journal entries and reconciliations
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and variances
  • Perform financial reporting
  • Work cohesively with team members
  • Must be extremely skilled with Microsoft Excel.
  • ERP system experience with SAP and Oracle.

Job Requirements

As a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager Consultant, you must be a highly organized and detail-oriented leader with a solid ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. You must also have sound judgment and strong reasoning skills as well as the ability to learn new processes and information quickly. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and that you can function effectively as part of a team. It is a remote role with 4-5 months as the term length of the project.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Minimum 3-5 of years accounting experience
• Experience with the entire general ledger and month-end close process
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition
• Familiarity with working with external auditors and financial controls testing.
• Larger ERP experience, espeically with Oracle and SAP, and advanced Excel Skills
• Must work EST hours.
