About the Opportunity
Reporting & Analysis
  • Provide reporting to the business leaders to support understanding of performance against budget and forecast.
  • Prepare analytics on business initiatives, product profitability and expense management to drive decision making to support financial targets.
  • Facilitate monthly performance reviews with Senior Leadership, in particular Product Leaders, to drive action on mitigating financial risks.
  • Draft, organize and present detailed financial reports including P&L, cash flow and key financial metrics to management and the board.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish accurate budgets aligned with the Company’s Financial Strategy.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly forecasts to continually refine financial results and ensure material variances have appropriate action plans to address them.
  • Review financial results monthly with the CFRO and CEO. Provide transparent and meaningful observations on results and outliers.
  • Recommend and lead efforts to improve key performance indicators, including performing new and ad-hoc analyses to investigate results.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure cash is efficiently utilized across the business.
Pricing
  • Oversee the pricing governance management practice and collaborate effectively cross-functionally to drive complex pricing decisions at all levels.
  • Work cross-functionally and closely with the Product, Client, and Strategy teams to drive decision making around all aspects of the pricing model.
  • Ensure pricing projects are effectively executed, including customer messaging, product experience, and internal enablement.
  • Drive robust pricing related research and analysis to generate and test hypotheses to optimize pricing model, including pricing metrics and price points.
Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement
  • Oversee the process engineering function which provides analysis and evaluation of enterprise-wide business processes, documenting current and target states.
  • Champion the continuous improvement program aimed at organizational effectiveness and cost optimization through process engineering
M & A Integration and Monitoring
  • Lead and provide strategic financial oversight of potential mergers and acquisitions including providing financial advice / recommendations to other executives. Perform financial due diligence and support the development of financial analyses and assessments to support the decision.
  • Oversee financial integration of new acquisitions, including purchase price allocations, accounting policy review and alignment, rollout of reporting requirements and governance standards, creation of new bottoms-up forecasts, and more.
Strategic Partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, such as auditors, legal advisors, and financial institutions, to strengthen relationships and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as a lead liaison between finance and other departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment on financial goals and initiatives, and effectively communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

About You
  • Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • 15 years of experience with a track record of progressive executive leadership.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing organization, preferably in technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and financial analysis to effectively manage financial operations and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in developing accurate budgets, financial forecasts, and performance indicators to guide resource allocation and decision-making.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry and jurisdiction.

Salary
$300,000 to $350,000/year
