Senior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Manage P&L and balance sheet accounting responsibilities across international regions 
  • Prepare and support month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting deliverables
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting packages within strict deadlines
  • Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and related regional accounting activities
  • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational reporting
  • Assist with audit support, statutory reporting, tax compliance coordination, and internal control initiatives
  • Analyze trends, investigate discrepancies, and provide analytical insights to leadership teams
  • Support ERP, reporting, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance, tax, and operational teams across multiple regions
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects, reporting requests, and operational initiatives as needed

Senior Accountant Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger and month-end close exposure
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement analysis required
  • Public accounting experience combined with private industry exposure is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate variances, identify inconsistencies, and problem-solve independently
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, data analysis, and complex spreadsheet functionality required
  • Experience with intercompany accounting, international accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred
  • ERP experience required, with Microsoft D365 experience considered a strong plus
  • Manufacturing industry experience is helpful but not required
  • CPA is considered a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and positive team-oriented attitude are essential
