Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join their finance team. This fully remote role focuses heavily on payroll and accounting functions. While having a CPA is highly desirable, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and experience in payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support the Controller in financial analysis and reporting.
- Participate in the budgeting process and support the development of financial forecasts.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong experience in payroll management is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with payroll systems and ERP systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and payroll regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités Clés :
- Superviser l'ensemble du processus de paie, en veillant à l'exactitude, à la conformité et à la ponctualité des paiements. Traiter les demandes liées à la paie et résoudre les problèmes de manière efficace.
- Gérer les opérations comptables quotidiennes, y compris les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients, le grand livre général et les rapprochements bancaires.
- Participer à la préparation des états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels conformément aux principes comptables généralement reconnus (GAAP).
- Soutenir le Contrôleur dans l'analyse financière et les rapports.
- Participer au processus de budgétisation et soutenir le développement des prévisions financières.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres départements pour fournir des informations financières et soutenir les processus de prise de décision.
- Diplôme de baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Le titre de CPA est préféré mais non obligatoire.
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience solide en gestion de la paie indispensable.
