Accounting Manager - Consultant POST NUMBER: 480892

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Analysis
- Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting for assigned business units.
- Monitor financial performance against established goals and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Support leadership with financial insights and business performance analysis.
- Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant with GAAP.
- Deliver management reports and financial analyses to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Stay informed of changes in accounting and regulatory requirements and implement necessary process updates.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned locations and departments.
- Partner with operational leaders to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide guidance on cost management initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational management on financial and business matters.
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiencies.
- Support implementation and optimization of accounting and ERP systems.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
- Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and requirements.
- Partner with Human Resources to support payroll-related activities and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or operating companies preferred.
- Residential services, restoration, construction, or field services industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed environment.
- Proven ability to partner with operational leadership and drive business performance.
- Track record of implementing process improvements and strengthening financial controls.
