Master Data Analyst POST NUMBER: 420171
**Hybrid Opportunity**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the master data management processes with a focus in JDE master data domains including maintaining Items, BOMS, Costs, locations, address book and other related master data domains.
- Work with the Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams to coordinate master data requirements gathering and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and control within JDE.
- Analyze source data from users to ensure that it is properly cleansed and standardized before entry into the system.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimize system capabilities and ensure master data flows efficiently between users, stakeholders, and business/system processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to take prompt corrective action to resolve or escalate master data issues.
- Educate business users on master data policies, processes, best practices, and tools to functional data owners.
- Create and maintain detailed process and procedure documentation on all master data functions and activities.
- Maintain an active understanding of the business’s product offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 3 years JD Edwards Enterprise One experience is necessary.
- Experience creating, configuring, and importing master data within JDE: Items, BOMS, Costs, locations, address book and other related master data domains.
- 2 years of experience in MDM.
- Experience with managing business data assets to improve data quality, accessibility, and reusability.
- Experience with establishing, monitoring, and maintaining data quality standards both with and without the use of automated toolsets.
- Experience with addressing issues of master data definition, metadata acquisition and data migration including data profiling, validation, clean-up, and remediation.
- Familiarity with MDM best practices
- Experience creating detailed procedural documentation.
- Experience documenting project requirements and milestones.
Other Knowledge/ Skills:
- Strong business acumen with data management background
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with data management tools: MS Excel, ReportsNow, Power Bi (or Tableau), SQL DB (MS SSMS), Boomi ETL, Informatica
- Fluency with process documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Smartsheet
- Comfortable driving business process interviews with senior stakeholders
