Our small growing client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join a budding accounting and finance team. The position is open due to growth in the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP, well-rounded accounting skills and corporate GL accounting experience. The position is located extremely close proximity to both bus and train station and will require 5 days a week in office to start with some hybrid capability of working remotely after 60 days! Only local candidates to PA area should apply.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Strong skill set of traditional GAAP Accounting exposure.
- General Ledger Accounting experience including accrual accounting and prepaids etc.
- Assisting Monthly Financial close process that is reporting into investors/venture backed capital organization.
- Monthly Adjusting Journal Entries.
- Help manage some AP functions
- Prior Revenue Recognition exposure would be a plus.
- Experience with working with external CPA Firm auditors.
- Budgeting and forecasting for FPA Manager.
- Ability to do some analysis on budget vs actual results.
- Intermediate Excel Skills with good knowledge of pivot tables.
- Ad hoc reports for CFO and Controller
