Vaco Dallas is seeking qualified candidates for an IT Procurement Analyst for a Dallas-based client, with a global operations.  Candidates must be local to the Dallas market, and willing/able to work onsite 5-days per week.  Candidates must also be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.  Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States, as our client is unable to sponsor at this time.

W2 Hourly Rate On Contract:  Based on experience and credentials
 
Salary Conversion:  Based on experience, $70,000 - $90,000 full benefits       



Job Scope: 

The IT Procurement Analyst will manage all facets of IT purchasing (hardware/software, licensing, etc., across the organization to support global operations. You will manage IT asset lifecycle including planning, scheduling, deliveries, inventory tracking, and retirement of IT assets.  This position will generate purchase orders for parts, supplied, tools, and other special projects related to mergers and acquisitions.  You will be responsible for assisting with vendor management, licensing purchases, contract lifecycle management, and needs related to project implementations.  This role will optimize the delivery of IT services to support production schedules and business demands across the organization.
 

  • Track contracts across full lifecycle, assist leadership in contract negotiation, management, and renewals
  • Negotiate purchase orders, verify and track shipments and orders with suppliers and vendors
  • Work with IT leadership team to define and develop IT assets standards and operational best practices
  • Maintain IT pricing and vendors lists for global procurement operations –
  • Work with IT leadership to manage budgetary cost and spend reporting to ensure cost savings globally
  • Manage third party vendor and supplier relationships
  • Work closely with stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships and communications
  • Develop and maintain IT customer portals and workflows to develop standardized procurement practices across the global business landscape
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements
  • Follow IT procurement practices based accounting policies and customer invoicing requirements.
  • Support IT leadership with administrative tasks, as needed

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, and/or equivalent experience and education credentials
  • 5 years of experience with IT procurement and purchasing
  • 3 years’ experience in software licensing management
  • 3 years of experience with administration duties
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience in supply chain / supply chain management

Preferred – not required:
 
  • Experience working within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP systems
