Vaco is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading organization for a Senior DevOps Engineering Lead. This is a full-time, direct hire position with core business hours, requiring 3 days per week onsite in the Greater Boston area. The salary for this role is $140,000 along with a solid benefits package, including:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of automated processes to enhance application delivery and system reliability.
- Spearhead best practices in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and infrastructure automation across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and promoting DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Leverage infrastructure as code tools like Terraform to automate deployment of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize cloud solutions and automate workflows.
- Identify and implement improvements within existing infrastructure and operational processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role, with a track record of improving efficiency and delivering Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solutions.
- Expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Ansible.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure services, including PaaS and SaaS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC management software, version control systems like Git, and cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps.
- Ability to manage Azure networking components, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Azure API Management and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
