Our client is a prominent professional services firm, highly regarded for its strong reputation in the industry is looking for a Collections Specialist. 

About the Opportunity: 

As a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company by managing and collecting outstanding client accounts. This is a dynamic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. You will have the chance to interact with a variety of clients, improve collections processes, and contribute to the overall success of the firm's financial operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue payments. 

  • Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve outstanding balances. 

  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients, when necessary. 

  • Work with internal teams to reconcile billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing. 

  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications. 

  • Prepare regular reports on collection activities, aging accounts, and payment trends. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations regarding collections. 

About You: 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a collections role, ideally in a professional services. 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain positive client relationships even during difficult conversations. 

  • Familiarity with collections software and ERP systems, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

  • Fluency in both English and French is required.

Responsabilités principales

  • Surveiller les comptes clients afin d'identifier les paiements en retard. 

  • Contacter les clients par téléphone, courriel et correspondance écrite pour résoudre les soldes en souffrance. 

  • Négocier des plans de paiement et des règlements avec les clients, si nécessaire. 

  • Travailler avec les équipes internes pour résoudre les écarts de facturation et assurer une facturation précise. 

  • Maintenir des dossiers précis de toutes les activités de recouvrement et des communications avec les clients. 

  • Préparer des rapports réguliers sur les activités de recouvrement, les comptes en souffrance et les tendances de paiement. 

  • Assurer la conformité aux politiques de l'entreprise et aux réglementations locales en matière de recouvrement. 

 

Au propos de vous:

  • Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire, idéalement dans une firme de services professionnels. 

  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en négociation, avec la capacité de maintenir des relations positives avec les clients même dans des situations difficiles. 

  • Maîtrise des logiciels de recouvrement et des systèmes ERP, ainsi qu'une bonne connaissance de Microsoft Excel. 

  • maîtrise de l'anglais et du français est requise.
