A professional services company in the Valley is looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to add to their team. The Senior Strategy Manager will be responsible for M&A, valuations, IRR, 3 statement cash flow, assisting with financial due diligence, project management, financial modeling, and long-range planning. What do you need for this Senior Strategy Manager role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field
• 5-8 years of finance, M&A, and/or valuations experience
• Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Senior Strategy Manager role?
• Conduct research to identify growth trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities that could impact the company's strategy.
• Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and disruptive technologies to inform long-term strategic planning.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team, providing insights into potential risks and growth opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential M&A, partnership, and investment opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with target companies, investment banks, venture capital firms, and other sources of deal flow.
• Develop a robust M&A pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of potential high-impact transactions.
• Lead and manage all aspects of the transaction process, including valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and integration planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, HR, etc.) to ensure successful execution of M&A and investment deals.
• Prepare and present investment cases, financial models, and transaction analyses to executive leadership and the board.
• Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation, and ROI analysis to assess the financial viability of potential deals.
• Conduct synergy analyses to determine potential value creation from acquisitions or partnerships.
• Monitor post-transaction performance and identify areas for operational and financial improvement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans to ensure seamless transition and realization of deal synergies.
• Collaborate with operational and functional leaders to align on integration goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and timelines.
• Support change management and monitor integration progress, reporting on key milestones and performance metrics.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional strategic projects that support long-term growth objectives.
• Partner with executive and business unit leaders to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
