A large professional services company is looking for a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for fixed assets, CIP, budget tracking, depreciation, interacting with VPs, setting up policies and procedures, and eventually taking on more GL duties down the line. To be successful in this role, the Senior Fixed Asset Accountant will need to have great communication skills, organized, and be able to manage multiple tasks. What do you need for this Senior Fixed Asset Accountant role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 years of accounting experience
• Must have experience with fixed assets
• Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Senior Fixed Asset Accountant role?
• GL account analysis and reconciliation
• Assist with lease accounting
• Manage asset enrollment, validation, tracking, and reporting of tangible and intangible assets
• Evaluate ways to streamline asset management accuracy
• Inventory reporting
• Assist with month-end close and consolidated reporting
• Assist with the financial statement audit
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Create reporting deck, variance analysis, and planning cycle reports
• Support FP&A initiatives
