Vaco is hiring a Salesforce Administrator for a direct hire, hybrid role in Northern Cincinnati. 
*This role offers a hybrid work schedule – 3 days a week onsite, 2 days a week at home*

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in Sales and Service Cloud. 

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration and optimization of our Salesforce platform, specifically Sales and Service Cloud. In this role, you will work with both management and a small development team on delivering constant improvements and new features. 
This role includes managing user accounts, permissions, backups, troubleshooting issues with end users, and providing training, especially those working remotely on tablets. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce, ability to build flow automation, and a passion for learning new technologies while delivering excellent platform and support to our field employees using FieldFX.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business; or equivalent experience.
•    3-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration
•    Strong experience in both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. 
•    Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent Salesforce training is required.
•    Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, functionalities, and administration.
•    Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    IT background and familiarity with mobile/tablet Salesforce applications is highly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Administration:
•    Conduct regular system maintenance, including data backups, system health checks, and performance monitoring.
•    Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and licenses to ensure proper access and functionality.
•    Maintain report folder permissions and data sharing settings.
•    Identify and implement potential enhancements to improve user experience (UX) and optimize user interface (UI).
•    Manage advanced Salesforce features such as flow automation and Lightning components. 
•    Ensure data integrity by performing regular data reviews and cleanups in collaboration with the sales support team.
User Support and Training:
•    Stay updated with Salesforce releases and evaluate use cases for organization to take advantage of new features.
•    Provide advanced training and ongoing support to Salesforce users to maximize their proficiency and drive platform utilization.
•    Assist users with list views, report generation, report customization, and dashboard creation.
•    Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials and documentation, including updates for new features and changes.
•    Conduct user onboarding sessions and refresher training as needed, with occasional travel required to new office sites.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
•    First response on Salesforce tickets escalated from IT, deliver timely and effective troubleshooting support for technical issues encountered by users.
•    Proactively address and resolve technical problems, minimizing disruption to users.
•    Escalate advanced issues to senior administrators and/or Salesforce support and partners when necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
•    Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions with the development team.
•    Coordinate and test new features in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment, gaining familiarity with organizational processes to build adequate test scenarios.
•    Communicate updates, changes, and best practices to users.
