About the Company? 

Our client is an insurance advisory firm. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A who will be responsible for partnering and supporting business leaders with timely and actionable insights and analysis to continue to drive profitable growth.  You will be involved in a wide range of strategic projects and will be a critical member of the finance team who works closely with the CFO and other leaders on automation projects and other key strategic initiatives.

About the Opportunity? 

  • Support the annual budget process with corporate and business units. 

  • Streamline the forecast process, increase forecast accuracy, align across various teams and stakeholders to enable meaningful forecast reviews with leadership. 

  • Analyze financial information and reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Participation in key decisions with sensitivities/scenario analysis. 

  • Prepare the monthly financial pack for assigned business units 

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to gather data, provide financial insights and ensure alignment with overall business goals. 

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with reporting standards. 

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and trends. 

  • Support the preparation of active projects within the team and provide analysis on request. 

  • Support in the testing and implementation of EPIC based solutions for reporting. 

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a CPC Forecasting tool 

  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information. 

  • Support and participate in cross-training to provide coverage and assistance for other positions within the finance team as required. 

  • Other duties as needed to meet business, divisional, or departmental needs. 

 

About You? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 

  • CPA designation required 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis 

  • Insurance industry experience preferred 

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality. 

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Salary Range? 

$90,0000 - $100,000 /year
