Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing consumer services company. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our fast-paced and customer-focused operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on NetSuite experience, a some experience in public accounting, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP.

Manage general ledger accounts and ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data in NetSuite.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, variance analyses, and management reports.

Collaborate with FP&A on budget and forecast processes.

Support external audits, including preparing schedules, responding to audit inquiries, and ensuring SOX/internal control compliance.

Identify and implement process improvements, especially leveraging NetSuite capabilities.

Partner cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and IT to ensure alignment of financial practices with business goals.

Mentor junior accounting staff and provide technical accounting guidance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred).

Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firm preferred).

Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is required.

Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices.

Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets and financial models.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
-
Experience in the consumer services industry (e.g., hospitality, health & wellness, retail services, or similar).

Prior exposure to revenue recognition under ASC 606.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools and dashboards.
