Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This hybrid position plays a critical role in planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and deliver business results. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms, strong HTML/CSS skills for email development, and a strategic, analytical mindset to improve performance through testing and innovation.
Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and optimize end-to-end email marketing campaigns. (45%)

Align with the broader digital marketing team and stakeholders to build and maintain an email calendar. (15%)

Proactively analyze and test campaigns for performance improvements; share insights and recommendations. (15%)

Collaborate with the technical email team to enhance technical capabilities, streamline workflows, and drive innovation. (15%)

Create and deliver presentations on campaign performance, learnings, and key wins to leadership and cross-functional teams. (10%)
Required Knowledge & Skills
-
Hands-on experience in email marketing platforms; Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.

Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for email development.

Familiarity with mobile-first and responsive email design.

Working knowledge of email testing and optimization techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot email rendering issues across platforms.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Experience with project management tools, preferably Jira.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.

Strategic and analytical mindset focused on business outcomes.
Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with email platforms like Responsys, Silverpop, MessageGears, SendGrid.

Familiarity with Litmus, Movable Ink, SparkPost or similar email QA and personalization tools.

Proficiency in AmpScript or similar personalization scripting language.

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics preferred.

Basic understanding of SQL is a plus.

Salesforce certifications are a plus but not required.

Understanding of email compliance laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
