Nous recherchons un développeur Java expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe de développement informatique dédiée à la facturation. Dans ce rôle, vous contribuerez à la conception, au développement et à l'amélioration de solutions logicielles soutenant nos opérations commerciales. Ce poste est hybride et nécessite une présence de deux jours par semaine au bureau de Saint-Hyacinthe.
Responsabilités
  • Concevoir, développer et maintenir des applications et services basés sur Java dans un environnement Agile.
  • Améliorer les fonctionnalités existantes et développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités selon les besoins des utilisateurs.
  • Diagnostiquer, tester, déboguer et documenter les solutions logicielles.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’assurance qualité et les analystes d’affaires pour garantir des livrables de haute qualité.
  • Participer à la communauté des développeurs et contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue.
Qualifications requises
  • Baccalauréat en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
  • Minimum de 6 ans d’expérience en développement Java.
  • Bilingue en anglais et en français.
Compétences et expériences souhaitées
  • Expérience avec le framework Spring.
  • Connaissance d’outils tels que Cucumber, JMeter, Git, JIRA et Confluence.
  • Compréhension des pipelines CI/CD et de l’intégration des tests automatisés.
  • Expérience dans des environnements de développement Agile.
  • Connaissance de l’assurance de biens et de responsabilité, en particulier des processus de facturation et de recouvrement.
  • Expérience avec Guidewire considérée comme un atout majeur.

Java Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our IT Billing Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of software solutions that support our business operations. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Saint-Hyacinthe office.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services within an Agile environment.
  • Enhance existing features and develop new functionalities based on user requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, test, debug, and document software solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in the developer community and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java development.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with the Spring Framework.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Cucumber, JMeter, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, particularly billing and collections processes.
  • Experience with Guidewire is considered a strong asset.
