Nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste bilingue de la facturation de projets pour rejoindre notre équipe financière et prendre en charge la facturation de projets d’envergure auprès d’agences gouvernementales. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les chefs de projet et les directeurs pour assurer une facturation précise et ponctuelle, tout en jouant un rôle clé dans le bon fonctionnement de nos opérations financières.
Vos responsabilités
- Collaborer avec les équipes projets pour déterminer les montants à facturer chaque mois
- Préparer et soumettre les factures clients conformément aux contrats et exigences spécifiques
- Mettre en place les modèles et procédures de facturation pour les nouveaux projets
- Enregistrer les factures dans le système comptable et gérer la facturation des sous-traitants
- Suivre les encaissements et assurer le paiement rapide des sous-consultants
- Soutenir les efforts de recouvrement et résoudre les écarts de facturation
- Suivre les indicateurs financiers clés : créances, encours de travail, flux de trésorerie
- Participer aux prévisions mensuelles de facturation et aux projets spéciaux
Profil recherché
- Bilingue français et anglais – excellentes compétences en communication dans les deux langues
- Expérience en facturation de projets gouvernementaux de grande envergure
- Minimum 4 ans d’expérience en facturation, idéalement dans un cabinet de services professionnels
- Bonne compréhension des types de contrats (horaire, forfaitaire, plafond budgétaire)
- Maîtrise avancée d’Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Connaissance des logiciels comptables
- Sens du détail, capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités
- Esprit d’équipe et excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes

Bilingual Project Billing Specialist (French/English) – Hybrid
Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in office of downtown Montreal – typically Tuesday or Thursday)
Reports to: Senior Finance Manager
About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented billing professional with a knack for navigating complex government contracts? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your bilingual skills (French & English) are truly valued?
We’re looking for a Bilingual Project Billing Specialist to join our finance team and take the lead on billing for large-scale government agency projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure accurate, timely invoices and play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with project teams to determine monthly billing amounts
- Preparing and submitting client invoices in line with contract terms and client requirements
- Setting up billing templates and procedures for new projects
- Recording invoices in the accounting system and reconciling sub-consultant billings
- Monitoring cash receipts and ensuring timely sub-consultant payments
- Supporting collections and resolving billing discrepancies
- Tracking key financial metrics like aging WIP, cash flow, and outstanding receivables
- Assisting with monthly billing forecasts and special finance projects
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in French and English – strong communication skills in both languages
- Experience billing large-scale government agency projects
- 4 years of billing experience, ideally in a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of contract types (hourly, lump sum, not-to-exceed)
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, etc.)
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- A team player with excellent problem-solving skills
