Guest Services Bartender & Hospitality Concierge

Position Summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a polished, service-oriented professional to join an exclusive private owner hospitality environment as a Guest Services Bartender & Hospitality Concierge.

This unique role blends premium beverage service, guest engagement, concierge-level hospitality, and operational support within a luxury private property setting. Unlike a traditional restaurant or high-volume bartending position, this role focuses on cultivating relationships with a consistent group of owners, family members, guests, and business associates while delivering highly personalized service and memorable experiences.

Essential Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Deliver exceptional service to private owners, guests, and business associates.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for the property, including its amenities, history, and unique offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with repeat guests and anticipate individual preferences and needs.
  • Maintain a professional, polished, and welcoming presence at all times.
  • Ensure every guest experience reflects the highest standards of hospitality.

Beverage & Food Service

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Provide food service support as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards in all bar and service areas.
  • Support owner functions, private events, and elevated beverage experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service practices.

Concierge & Guest Support

  • Provide concierge-style assistance for owners and guests throughout their stay.
  • Assist with transportation and general property-related requests.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact within hospitality lounges and guest gathering spaces.
  • Proactively support guest comfort and satisfaction through attentive service.

Operations & Inventory Management

  • Manage beverage inventory, stock levels, ordering, and receiving.
  • Assist with invoice processing and inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare and restock guest lodges, lounges, and hospitality areas.
  • Support beverage station and water station management across the property.
  • Participate in operational projects, organization efforts, and property support activities during non-guest periods.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams.
  • Support departmental needs to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first attitude while assisting across multiple functions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in bartending, hospitality, food service, guest services, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in private clubs, country clubs, luxury resorts, boutique hotels, yacht clubs, cruise lines, or similar upscale hospitality environments.
  • Experience serving private memberships, executives, or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Background in concierge services, guest relations, or luxury hospitality.
  • Experience with beverage inventory management, ordering, and operational support functions.

Schedule

This position operates on a flexible schedule based on guest occupancy and property needs.

When Guests Are Not on Property

Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities focus on:

  • Inventory management
  • Organizational projects
  • Stocking and restocking
  • Property support and operational preparation

When Guests Are on Property

Typical Schedule: Approximately 1:00 PM until evening guest activities conclude (typically by or before 10:00 PM)

Responsibilities focus on:

  • Guest engagement and hospitality
  • Beverage service
  • Concierge support
  • Owner and guest experience

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed is required.


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, including in temperatures exceeding 90°F.
  • Ability to adapt to changing guest needs and schedules.
