What strategic initiative is driving this need?
Kick off an implementation of a new ERP system. We are currently on Microsoft Dynamics AX and are moving to Maconomy, the ERP system utilized by our parent company and all of their subsidiaries. The implementation is expected to be complicated due to specific business requirements which are different from the other brands and due to the high level of integrations between our ERP system with other internal systems.
Requirements: ERP project management expertise, but it is not necessary for them to be familiar with Maconomy.
Systems: Currently on MS Dynamics going to Maconomy
The Role:
Project Manager for the ERP implementation reporting to CFO and dotted line to CIO, partnering with IT firm (Del-Tek) leading the implementation.
Experienced and highly organized Project Manager is needed to lead the end-to-end implementation of our ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, ERP platforms (such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), and cross-functional leadership. This role will be critical in ensuring the ERP implementation is completed on time, within budget,
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of the ERP implementation project
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, timeline, budget, milestones, and resource allocation
- Serve as the liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, HR, Operations, and other business units
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure strong change management, training, and communication plans are in place
- Ensure plans are in place for data migration, systems integration, testing (UAT), and go-live activities
- Manage post-implementation punch list

- Strong understanding of ERP systems,
- Understands high level accounting knowledge/speak
- Anticipate what is needed and take action early
- Great communication – verbal and written
- Highly organized
- Flexibility as project evolves
