About the Opportunity

- Build and manage the company’s financial forecasting models adhering to reporting schedule, accurately incorporate business partner inputs
- Produce Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports collaborating with business partners as necessary
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and operational results for Executive Team, Board Members, Investors, and External Stakeholders with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Partner with Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP or IFRS, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Successfully deliver Annual Budget process: establish timeline, create templates, manage cross-functional inputs, own model, iterate as necessary, create management presentations
- Monitor KPIs company-wide, including order/unit economics and financial performance
- Analyze financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Partner with Accounting Team to successfully migrate to new financial ERP system
- Serve as thought leader on AI/Software tools to maximize efficiency and continuous operational improvement
- Partner with Data Analytics Team to automate reporting to fullest extent possible to minimize manual intervention and maximize speed and accuracy
- Support Financial Operations (Treasury, Tax, Insurance, A/R, A/P, GL, inventory accounting, and payroll/benefits) as needed to ensure complete and timely support to business partners
- Leverage knowledge of e-commerce financial metrics, including CAC, LTV, and ROI, to guide decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure financial alignment.
- Conduct Business Case Analyses, supporting cross functional partners, to facilitate optimal resource allocation and business decisions
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting e-commerce.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Min 10 years of progressive finance experience, with experience in CPG , Distribution and or ecommerce. Experience in a high-growth startup would be strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, and eCommerce business metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, gross margin).
- In-depth understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in financial tools, data analytics and software, such as Excel, GoogleSheets and NetSuite
- Hands-on experience working with accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Salary Range
$150,000/year
